Sparx Holdings Group has created a smarter way to extinguish a fire.
Its flagship product, the Sparx Smart Sprinkler System, combines early fire-detection technology with wireless communications, enabling the system to coordinate a quick, potentially life-saving response to fires.
In 2021 alone, fires caused more than three-and-a-half billion dollars in property damage. And most sprinkler systems aren’t capable of putting out a blaze. Often, people must wait for firefighters to arrive. That time spent costs not only considerable damage, but also people’s lives.
Sparx’s system, however, doesn’t just react to fires. It outsmarts them. By using software and data insights, this system pinpoints a fire’s origin and activates sprinklers that target the area and prevent the spread of flames.
Sparx has a patent-license agreement on its system and unveiled a prototype of its system earlier this year.
