One of Newsweek's "World's Best" Digital-Health Companies
Koios Medical is developing Artificial Intelligence-powered software to detect cancer more accurately and more often.
Its software increases the accuracy of Magnetic Resource Imaging, commonly referred to as MRI. This procedure can help identify cancerous cells or tumors in the body. Using AI, Koios’ software can distill MRI images down to the pixel level for patterns that are invisible to the human eye. This helps doctors build models that predict cancer and distinguish normal tissue from potentially life-threatening diseases.
Koios was named a Newsweek “World’s Best Digital-Health Company” for 2024. And notable distribution partners include GE Healthcare, Philips, and Sirona Medical. The company is generating revenue and has cleared key insurance reimbursement hurdles with the Food & Drug Administration (FDA).
