GoSun is making reliable solar power more accessible.

The company originally introduced a line of solar-powered recreational products, ranging from portable grills to coolers to campers. Now it’s targeting the market for electric vehicles with a portable solar-powered charger.

In the push toward alternative energies, solar power is gaining traction. The global solar-power market reached $170 billion in 2022 and is projected to reach $678 billion by 2032.

GoSun is targeting this market by doing things a little differently than the competition. While most direct competitors offer only solar-power tools like grids or devices, GoSun integrates solar-powered technology into everyday products people actually use and enjoy.

As mentioned, the company started with outdoor recreational products. For example, its solar ovens use patented solar technology to provide fast, portable cooking. And its ice-free solar-powered coolers keep food cold or frozen.

These products have helped GoSun bring in more than twenty-three million dollars in total sales in more than eighty countries. But recently, the company sought to expand its offerings.

That’s why GoSun has tapped into the emergency-management sector and the market for electric vehicles (EVs).

The company’s Flow product provides off-grid water purification and sanitation with USB-powered pump and solar-powered bank, offering months of drinking water, kitchen sink, and shower functionality. And its electric boat and electric camper both feature solar technology.

GoSun’s most recent product, however, is its solar EV charger. EV owners can now use the company’s universal rooftop solution that unfolds when the vehicle is parked and produces as much as thirty miles of range each day. GoSun’s solar charger is powered by a proprietary mix of flexible solar and electronic controls that capture sunlight to charge your car.

GoSun has received recognition at multiple CES Innovation Awards, and been featured on television programs like “Innovation Nation.” The company has generated more than one million dollars in pre-sales for its EV solar charger.
